Hi all. When I enter mutt, I see an error message in the lower left corner stating "SASL Authentication Failure". Does anyone have any suggestions on what is causing this error? If I'm able to check my email on modoboa, what is my password as I don't recall setting up a password for my email account. Thank you.

Hello! If you do in your home directory: > ls -la you should see that you have a .muttrc file. If you edit that file, you should see a line that begins: > set imap_pass = This is where your email password goes. The introductory email you received when your membership was approved should have given you a webmail password. Which you should change, by the weay. Hope this helps.

Hi citizenalex. Your reply was most helpful. In case anyone else runs into my issue, I changed my email password when I first received my credentials. After citizenalex's suggestion of editing the .muttrc file and changing it to my new email password, that solved the issue as .muttrc was configured with my original password. Many thanks!
